OUR STORY
For over 20 years, our goal has always been to provide our customers with high-quality products and services. Over the years we have brought together a strong team of roofers, siders, gutter and window installers, and repair technicians to ensure our homeowners have the best experience. We know that a lot of times issues can arise unexpectedly. You can count on us to be able to take on urgent requests and handle them quickly and effectively.
When choosing us as your contractor you can feel secure knowing we stand behind all of our work, and aim to provide you the services you need- never things you don’t need. From residential to commercial, there is no job too big or too small. We are proud to serve the Aurora and surrounding areas!

Steve Allen
Steve Allen is the owner and originator of STA. With a construction background that goes further back than most of us can remember he has strived to create a business built on honesty and expert workmanship since the early 90’s. He has been the qualifying party for the Illinois Stat Roofing License for nearly 3 decades and has solved virtually every exterior problem there is (this guy is hard to stump). Steve is happy to spend most of his time outdoors both for work and at home. Camping, off-roading with his family and woodworking are a few things he enjoys.
John Elwood
John Elwood is STA’s estimating and project expert. John’s attention to detail is rivaled by none. He too has an extensive background in the trades from long before his time here coming to us in 2015 from the electrical field. He adheres to STA’s core values bringing integrity, honesty and expertise into every job. When he is not at work John can be found with his family at sporting events and is very involved with his church.
